I would like to take this chance and nominate my mother for the My Beauty Campaign Session. When I heard about this special session, my mind immediately went to my mom. She has had her share of struggles her entire life and is one of the most beautiful people I know. She has overcome the powerful addictions of tobacco, financially struggled most of her life, had six children and overcame the death of a spouse. But her strength, perseverance and loving nature has made her inot a beautiful woman. She is one of the most sincere and caring people I know, always reaching out to help others. I have always considered her beautiful. It started from when I was little and I used to hear my mom sing. I thought she was an angel. As I have grown up and watched her sacrifice her time and talents for others, it amazes me the person that she is. It has saddened me that through the course of her life and through some very negative people, her self esteem has faltered. She has not taken a picture of just herself in over 20 years and is constantly doubting her beautiful character and face. I would love the opportunity for her to get dressed up, take a photograph or two and see herself as beautifully as all those who know her do. She really deserves and needs to know just how beautiful she is.
